About the Primary Department:

• A staffed nursery is provided, in addition to classes for everyone, 2 years of age and above. You are welcome to attend anytime, even if you are a visitor. A variety of class styles and topics are offered.
• The primary department includes classes for ages 2 and 3, Preschool and Kindergarten, Grades 1-2 and Grades 3-4. Children participate in a group singing time before going to their individual classes.
• For the primary department classes, we use the Gather Round curriculum from Faith and Life Press. It covers important Biblical content over a four year cycle.
• Children are invited to bring coins for various offering projects, such as medicine for Haiti or food for the West Liberty Cares pantry. Each year, a Christmas musical is also performed by the children up through 8th grade.
